Phoenix PSR-MXF safety relay allows you to implement three safety functions such as emergency stop, safety door or light grid monitoring.
The advantages, compared with using three safety relays, are:-
- pre-connected safety functions means fewer potential wiring errors
- lower expenditure on warehousing and logistics
- two thirds less space required
There are four versions of Phoenix PSR-MXF device with screw, spring-cage or tool-free push-in connections with which to monitor different types of sensor.
Phoenix PSR-MXF safety relays have three sensor circuits which can each be wired with single or dual channels:
- A higher-level sensor circuit S0
- Two local sensor circuits S1 and S2
The local sensor circuits S1 and S2 each provide a standard function such as a safety door or a light grid. When a fault occurs, both sensor circuits can be reactivated separately.
The higher-level sensor circuit S0 monitors both local sensor circuits. If it is triggered, the safety circuits protected by S1 and S2 are switched off.
The advantages of using Phoenix PSR-MXF:-
- your cost advantage using just one safety relay instead of three
- space saving in the control cabinet thanks to the low housing width of 22.5mm
- no software configuration is required so easy maintenance and startup
- push -in connection means short installation time
